The young golfer will have numerous well-known supporters as she starts her professional golf debut this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who is related to a former US president, obtained a special exemption to compete at the Annika tournament in Florida.
Her grandfather, an avid golfer, owns numerous international courses and often competes against his granddaughter.
"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we have competitive games," she revealed.
She mentioned that Trump, who won't be present, advised her: "Simply stay calm."
"He basically advised me to play and have fun," she explained.
"From my perspective, he's just a normal grandpa. He can't make it this weekend. He's occupied with presidential duties, making him somewhat preoccupied."
While still amateur, the golfer has played in only three events in 2024 and holds position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.
But she can seek guidance from golf legend, in a relationship with Kai's mother.
"He represents the top athlete in the world," the young golfer said.
"Furthermore, he's an even better individual. He advised me to play, enjoy myself, adapting to whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against multiple top competitors in the sport at the Annika, featuring second-ranked the champion, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
The LPGA stated that Kai's presence exposes the sport to wider groups, particularly with the next generation.
The young star maintains a massive following and recently launched a personal fashion and living company.
The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
