Prolific writer for children and TV personality David Walliams is no longer with his UK book publisher, the company has said.
A representative for the publisher commented: "Following a thorough review, and with the guidance of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing future works by David Walliams."
It has been reported that the move was taken subsequent to an review of allegations of questionable actions towards women.
The company declined to specify the reasons for its decision, stating: "It is not our policy to discuss private personnel issues."
Walliams is one of the UK's most prolific writers for young readers, with sales exceeding in excess of 60 million copies globally in five dozen languages.
The debut children's novel from Walliams, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins in 2008.
Several of his titles, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into TV movies.
He has published in excess of 40 works altogether, encompassing a festive story titled *Santa & Son*, which came out under HarperCollins last autumn.
His initial claim to fame came on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his duties as an arbiter on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was awarded an OBE back in 2017 in recognition of his work for the charitable sector and arts community.
This move occurs subsequent to the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's recent CEO in October.
